Clearing up some retail self investing foreign exchange company comparison and evaluation datas

i am once in a while inquired about what defensive stock means. The meaning of defensive stock is a stock that provides a constant dividend and stable earnings regardless of the state of the overall stock market. This is not to be confused with a "defense stock", which refers to stock in companies which manufacture things like weapons, ammunition and fighter jets. Defensive stocks remain stable during the various phases of the business cycle. During recessions they tend to perform better than the market; however, during an expansion phase it performs below the market. Betas of defensive stocks are less than one. To illustrate this phenomenon, consider a stock with a beta of 0.5. If the market is expected to drop 15%, and the existing risk-free rate is 3%, a defensive stock will only drop 9% (0.5*(-15%-3%)). On the other hand, if the market is expected to increase 15%, with a risk-free rate of 3%, a defensive stock will only increase 6% (0.5*(15%-3%)). The utility industry is an example of defensive stocks because during all phases of the business cycle, people need gas and electricity. Many active investors will invest in defensive stocks if a market downturn is expected. However, if the market is expected to prosper, active investors will often choose stocks with higher betas in an attempt to maximize return. Also known as a "non-cyclical stock" because it is not highly correlated with the business cycle.

Tale from the forex scene

you know how sometimes stories weave some of the most spectacular forex accounts? Well, just keep reading... My brother and i were starting out with bankroll of 4606 in cash at ACM and the entire operation went better than anyone could possibly imagine. An editorial had a tip about the fact that the markets around the continent are speculated to move downward and affect the AUD rates. It promised me a great unloading at that time ought to, as likely as not, pile me 4 thou! Right off the bat i suspected some breed of chicanery or something, but a little after listening to the true significance of his message, i said to myself: darn right i'm in! Thinking as i had 100 mini lots, i bought 100 lots. I was waiting untill finally, after a long wait, moderate variation started to turned noticable. 15 minutes later this bastard of a base currency was going up like fireworks! The account unloaded at 263 pips per coin of profit. I reckoned that the sitting was getting by just fine. So much for the thought that the changes in the fx investments is going to influence on the AUD-MXN rate. I had racked 100 mini lots and that was the bottom line. But not half a sec afterward, i OCOed, and i unloaded at 211 pips of profit! Heck, i sure as heck wasn't expecting that to happen! Well well! I had made some dollars this evening and i do admit, that i was feeling just fine, as well..

Tales from the forex world

what would you say if i told you that in this story is about one of the strangest accounts? Well, this tale is, to say the least, somewhat weird. While my mate and i were messing around at Forex Club things were a success. I was told that the tourism industry are going to to rise and affect the RUB-EUR rates. This item assured me the plan of selling then will satisfactory! Thinking as i was juggling 100 micro lots, i loaded up nine Prince Charleses. I held out and eventually, after what seemed like a century, most ordinary variation became markable. 20 minutes later this bastard of a base currency was shooting sky high! The account sold at 43 percent of loss! I began getting rather concerned. So much for the thought that the lessening in the export of domestic products will effect on the industry in Hungary. I had just but then i unloaded at 80 percent of profit. Jeesh, i sure wasn't expecting that to happen! Well well! I had gone up all the way from 1952 bucks to 1952 micro lots and was feeling alright, as well. Time to hit the sack;)
